A great team-building/icebreaker tool for groups that don’t know each other well, is an exercise called “You’d Never Guess”. Ask each participant to write down a unique, quirky or funny fact about themselves on a note card. Collect all the cards and mix them up. Then read them aloud and have the group guess who the fact pertains to.
Another fun exercise is called “Snowball Fight”. Give each participant a colored sheet of paper. Tell them to fold it in half diagonally, then fold that in half, then unfold altogether and fold in half vertically, continue with a few more instructions. Then abruptly tell everyone to crumple up the whole sheet and throw it at someone.
Let the laughter ensue!
