Our very own Anne Orban, M.F.A, M.Ed, NPDP will be presenting at IFDA’s and Cornell’s NextGen Symposium 2015. Don’t miss her engaging talk on creating a culture of innovation at your workplace.

Cultivating a Culture for Innovation at Your Workplace

Using interactive exercises, this session will explore the five “W’s” – who, what, where, when and why – of building an innovation culture. You will learn ways to identify opportunities for innovation anywhere in your value chain, develop process steps for any innovation project, and recognize common barriers and pitfalls to innovation. You will come away with five things you can do to help build your innovation culture when you get back to your company.

IDFA and Cornell University have teamed up to offer an exciting program for the next generation of dairy leaders designed to enhance personal and professional networks, increase self-awareness and improve leadership skills in a way that can drive change within an organization. Now in its second year, the NextGEN Symposium will be held Oct. 6 – 8, 2015, once again at Cornell University. The program will feature professional and personal development seminars as well as exposure to some of the top subject matter experts in dairy.

NextGEN provides opportunities for dairy professionals to grow, collaborate, network, solve problems and develop the skills necessary to hold leadership positions in their companies, as well as in IDFA and its constituent organizations.
